Sydney has been at Florida State since 2018, when she won a national championship in her freshman season. Four years later, she has returned to FSU as a graduate student for the 2022 season, where she will share the journey of her last ride through the D1 Players Society.

Sydney has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year twice, and last season she posted a .345 batting average to go along with her .977 fielding percentage.
